Likely from Spain or Portugal, this antique silver brooch is crafted in a style of filigree called 'quilling'. Long, milgrain edged strips of silver are rolled and coiled into gorgeous shapes, providing a lacy frame. A gold filled panel from the Victorian era is presented at the center, itself topped with a Mid Century cameo!
